OPM RFC thanks Councillor Vivien Pengelly for her support

OPM RFC Junior and Senior sections had the pleasure of welcoming our local Councillor Vivien Pengelly to view the new OPM developments and facilities at Elburton. Vivien visited on Sunday to see a huge number of Juniors training on Sunday and walk through the new changing facilities and social area. She met many of our Junior Committee & coaches, new catering manager Val Noden and discussed our future plans and projects for the Elburton facility.

Vivien has been an active member of the OPM Family and supported us with many decisions undertaken by Plymouth City Council, with our Community engagement and with her recognition of our ongoing work by supporting us with Community grants when available including this season.

Vivien was very impressed with the recent developments undertaken and especially noted about the huge impact and benefits that this would have for the local community by providing an excellent facility for children of all ages to play rugby and exercise, have fun, learn the RFU values and enjoy the pitches and social area which are now available. She is looking forward to assisting us again this season and we would like to thank her for all of her efforts in supporting the OPM Family.
